The Covenant of Salt

The use of the word ‘salt’ in Scripture has been interpreted in many different ways over the centuries. Just as leaven has a consistent meaning throughout the Bible, this book reveals the usual typological meaning of salt as the Words of God. Salt is related to the Words of God, preservation of the Words of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Covenant. If the Covenant equals the Lord Jesus Christ (Isa. 42:6), and the Covenant equals the Words of God, and Salt equals the Words of God — then Salt equals the Lord Jesus Christ.
