God’s “Hitchhike” Evangelist: The Biography of Rolfe Barnard

Description

E. A. Johnston presents the biography of Rolfe Barnard, an itinerant evangelist of the 20th century who was known for hitchhiking to his preaching engagements and for his powerful, God-centered proclamation of the Gospel. Barnard was a compelling preacher who emphasized the sovereignty of God in salvation and the necessity of genuine repentance. Johnston brings this largely overlooked evangelist back to the attention of the church as an example of faithful, fearless Gospel preaching.
