The author reports that after talking to hundreds of housewives, she has found that most of these women are basically unhappy with their lives. Over and over again she has heard housewives say, as we discussed family life, ‘headship,’ ‘submission,’ and parenthood: ‘And what about me?’ In this book, she hopes to challenge women readers with an answer to their question. She wants to encourage them to accept their God-given role and not rebel against it. She also hopes, by sharing her experiences both in life and in counseling sessions, to help them develop a right mental attitude toward their responsibilities in family life which could prevent much unhappiness and unrest.
