The Baptism and Filling of the Holy Spirit

Description

Dr. Ketchum carefully distinguishes between the baptism of the Holy Spirit (a once-for-all event at salvation by which the believer is placed into the body of Christ) and the filling of the Holy Spirit (a repeated experience of being controlled by the Spirit). This exegetical study works through the key passages in Acts and the Epistles to clarify the Biblical teaching on the Spirit’s work in the believer’s life, cutting through the confusion created by Pentecostal and charismatic interpretations.
